Rush Lake and Nanga Parbat Base Camp Trek

Rush Lake and Nanga Parbat Base Camp Trek are two of the most popular trekking destinations in Pakistan. Both treks offer stunning views of the Himalayas and Karakoram mountain ranges, and are suitable for experienced trekkers.

Rush Lake: The Rush Lake Trek is a moderate to difficult trek that takes you to Rush Lake, one of the highest alpine lakes in the world. The trek offers stunning views of Spantik, Malubiting, Miar Peak, Phuparash Peak, and Ultar Sar. It is the junction of two famous glaciers of Barpu and Bualter. It is interesting that local legends talk about the gender of these glaciers of being male and female and also about their meeting and birth of the new glaciers.

Nanga Parbat Base Camp: The Nanga Parbat Base Camp Trek is a challenging trek that takes you to the base camp of Nanga Parbat, the ninth highest mountain in the world. The trek offers stunning views of Nanga Parbat, as well as other peaks in the Himalayas. 

 

Itinerary

Departure From home town and arrive to Islamabad Pakistan, our representative will pick you up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.

Morning, we will leave for Chilas, the distance from Islamabad to Chilas is 400km and it takes approximately 8hr of drive. Along the way we will stop at many picturesque points. We will have our lunch on the way. Overnight stay in hotel.

Approximately: 9 – 10 hrs drive

After breakfast, we will move towards Fairy Meadows named by the Germans, it is ranked the 3rd most beautiful place in the world. We can see the mighty Nanga Parbat, the 9th highest mountain in the world. We will travel by car till Raikot Bridge. after that we will tranfer to the jeeps drive into the Tatto village. After that we will hike 5 km it would take about 3 to 4 hrs or you can ride a horse up to Fairy Meadows. Overnight stay in hotel.

Approximately: 2 – 3 hrs drive / 3 – 4 hrs hike.

Morning after breakfast, we will trek to Beyal Camp (3,500 m) along the way you will see streams, observe the simplicity of the villagers. You will witness the Nanga Parbat Peak and the Raikot Glacier. We have your lunch at Beyal Camp and at the evening we will trek down to fairy meadows for dinner and overnight stay.

Approximately: 7 – 8 hrs hike.

After breakfast, we will walk down to Tatto village, transfer to jeeps, have lunch at Raikot Bridge and head towards Hopper village, after reaching Hopper village we will have Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Morning, we will arrange the porters and start descending the cliff to cross Bualtar Glacier (Hopper), from here many peaks will be visible such as Lady finger, Ultar Peak, Kapel Peak, Malubiting Peak, and Spantik peak. We will have our lunch en route. After that we will cross the Barpu Glacier which will be a little challenge, after that we will reach Baricho Kor Campsite (3,300m). Overnight in Tents

Approximately: 5- 6 hrs Trek

Altitude Gained: 773 m

After Breafast, we will climb the steep left ridge of Baricho Kor for 3hrs, as we climb higher, we will eventually reach Chidden Harrar (4,400m), we will reach to a good view point its will be a steep trek and a little difficult. We will have our lunch on the hike. Overnight stay in Chidden Harrar

Approximately: 6-7 hrs trek

Altitude gained: 1,100m

Morning, we will trek from Chidden Harrar to Rush Lake. The trek holds mesmeric sceneries. The trek is easy we will reach Rush Lake in 3hrs trek. Surrounded by mountains, we will camp near the lake. Overnight stay in tents.

Approximately: 3 hrs trek

Altitude Gained: 360 m   

After Breakfast, we will start our descending trek, we will trek to Phari Phari it’s a steep descent, we will have a great view of the Golden Peak and the Barpu Glacier. Overnight stay in tents at Phari Phari.

Morning, we will trek back to Hopper Valley, we will have out lunch in a local village. After that drive to Gilgit. Overnight Stay in hotel.

Approximately: 4 hrs trek and 3 hrs drive

In the morning, we will travel to Naran via Babusar top (4,173 m), a distance of about 170 kilometers. We have our lunch in a local restaurant at Lulusar Lake Viewpoint. After that, we will arrive at Naran in afternoon, a beautiful Valley and is very famous amongst the tourists. Overnight Stay in hotel at Naran.

Approximately: 5-6 hrs drive

Morning after breakfast, we will drive to Taxila we will have our lunch at Taxila. After lunch we will visit Taxila museum and the ancient Buddhist sites of Taxila such as Sirkap, Dharmarajika Stupa. After that we will visit the famous Faisal Mosque. In the evening, we will have our farewell dinner. Overnight Stay in Hotel.

Approximately: 7-8 hrs drive.

Transfer to Airport to your flight back home, our services will end at the airport.
