Dating back to the 1st century BCE, it was part of the ancient Gandhara civilization. The site sits on a hilltop, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding valley. Its stone-built stupas, meditation cells, assembly halls, and courtyards reflect the architectural brilliance and spiritual depth of early Buddhist culture.

Morning, we will drive towards Takht Bhai takes nearly 3 hours to reach.

Takht Bhai is a monastery was established in the 1st century CE and was used until the 7th century.
