Karakoram Jeep Safari Tour take us on the Karakoram Highway, eighth wonder of the world, is a unique highway that provides one of the most adventurous and scenic journeys to many parts of F.A.N.A (Federally Administered Northern Areas).

The Northern Areas of Pakistan are blessed with impressive mountain landscapes. The highest towering snow covered peaks in the world and the longest glaciers outside the Polar Region. Huge lakes and dreamy valleys are abundant. The great mountain ranges of the world rub against each other side by side as if nature had intended a contest between three mountainous mammoths, the Himalayas, the Karakoram and the Hindukush ranges. The Indus River flows in between these mountain ranges as if it were a cooling agent slowing down their fury.

One can see the highest peaks, get a stiff dose of ancient history (both fact and fable), go trekking, mountaineering or just sit by a window and enjoy spectacular views of the region while enjoying a hot cup of tea.

Itinerary

Arrival at Islamabad. Meet and assist transfer to hotel. Afternoon we will visit the Faisal Mosque, Daman i Koh view point and Pakistan Monument. Overnight in hotel

Fly to Skardu. (subject to weather conditions) an impressive 50 minutes fly over Babusar pass and mighty Nanga Parbat (8125m). Transfer to hotel.

Drive to Kaplu a beautiful town at the bank of River Indus. Visit the old Fort and Mosque built by the Tibetan Architect style overnight at Khaplu or Return to Hotel.

Drive to Shigar valley, the gateway to Baltoro glacier. Visit the 16th century old mosque and lacal tibeten style old houses and village. After lunch drive back to Skardu. Overnight at Hotel.

Drive to Deosai Plains via satpara lake and Alimalik pass. Deosai a high plateau (4000m) uninhabited and inhospitable in winter, snow-covered for eight months of the year. But in summer its an enchanted wilderness. The National Park of Deosai Plains covers a vast area where wild Himalayan bears and snow leopards live.

Same day drive to Tarishing via Chachor Pass. Visit the Sheosor Lake there are different kind of birds species in this lake and a magnificent views of Nanga Parbat. After a brief visit continue drive to Tarishing, a village at the foot of south side of Nanga parbat is surrounded by high peaks and gives views on the valley. Meals and overnight at local Sarai.

Full day excursion to Nanga Parbat Base-Camp cross the Tarishing glacier and walk through the green meadows of Rupal villages to discover the astonishing vertical wall of south face of Nanga Parbat. Return to Tarishing overnight local sarai (inn).

Drive to Rama Lake a beautiful resort situated in thick pine forest. After lunch drive to Rama lake and local shaped huts. Meals and overnight at PTDC Rama.

Drive to Gilgit by the Astor gorge and at Thalichi the road joins KKH. A magnificent view of Nanga Parbat appear the immaculate summit of the Killer Mountain. Overnight at Riveria Hotel.

Drive to Karimabad. Perched on the bank of the Hunza River the town is shadowed by Ultar, Lady Finger and Rakaposhi peaks. On way stop to admire the view on Rakaposhi (7788m). Visit the Baltit and Altit Forts. After noon drive to Duikar view point for sun set photography of many countless peaks above 7000 m in Karakoram and enjoy the birds eye view of Hunza and Nagar valleys. overnight at Hotel.

Day Excursion to Hoper village at Nagar valley dominated by Rakaposhi Peak (7788m). Views on Malubiting (7266m), and Diran peaks. Overnight at Hotel.

Drive to Passu, visit the Borit lake and rope suspension bridge and passu village to have a magnificent view of passu glacier and Passu peak. Overnight in hotel.

Drive to Gilgit an important market place on the Silk Road. Visit the Buddha carved in rock at Kharga and exploration of the town. Many shops show the precious stones, which are found in all the area. Overnight at Hotel.

Early morning drive to Raikot Bridge and walk on the narrow gorge of the Raikot valley jeep road up to Tato village which has damaged by the earth quake last year takes 5-6 hours to Tato village. Another 3 hours walk leads to Fairy Meadow. Overnight at Raikot Sarai.

Morning day free to explore the area. After lunch trek to Beyal another beautiful meadow surrounded by thick pine and juniper forest. a very gentle walk leads to Beyal through the thick pine forest and green meadows with full of wild flowers. walk on the Raikot glacier to hike to bathrate meadows and Trek back to Fairy Meadow Overnight in Raikot Sarai.

Transfer to Drive to Naran via Babusar Pass (4100m) through the boto gah valley and summer pastures of the local inhabitants living up with the cattle herds. From the pass you can see the naked mountain Nanga Parbat, Rakaposhi and the surrounding summer pastures. On the way to Naran you can see the Lulusar Lake and Lalazar plateau. Overnight at PTDC Naran.

After break fast drive to Islamabad through the beautiful Balakot and Mansehra valley. Lunch enroute and visit taxila On the Way. Later, continue drive to Islamabad. Overnight at Hotel.

Morning we will visit the markets of Rawalpindi (Raja BAzar), Enjoy our fareweel dinner in the evening. overnight in Hotel.
