We begin at Lahore, the Mughal city of Pakistan, by exploring some of the finest examples of Mughal architecture in this country. The 17th century Badshahi Mosque, the Lahore Fort built in 16th century Ad, the Shalimar Gardens built by Emperor Shah Jehan of the Taj Mahal are just a few examples of Lahore’s glamorous history.. Explore the old walled city that once used to have 12 gates and a defensive wall where you visit the lovely Wazir Khan Mosque with its superb frescoes and inlay pottery decorations.
Onwards to Multan, the city of Sufi Shrines and a gateway to the Indian sub continent, where invaders, conquerors and explorers from Alexander the Great to the Mughals had entered is an awe inspiring experience. Thee Famous Octagonal Tombs of the 13th century poet and saint, Bahaudin Zakria and the 14th century saint Shah Rukn Alam are a sight to be reckoned with.
We drive to Taunsa Sharif for a Boat Ride on the mighty Indus River and hit some ducks along the way for little safari experience, explore the rare species of blind Dolphins found only in the Lower Indus River. We explore the traditions and customs of the rural villages residing on the banks of Indus River.
