Balochistan Cultural Heritage tour

The adventurous trip of Balochistan is a twelve-day tour, in which we will explore the beauty and the culture of largest province of Pakistan (Balochistan), which is still yet to be explored by tourists.

The tour will amaze any enthusiast of travelling, infused with cultures and beautiful landscape, which can only be experienced by naked eyes. During this tour we will be visiting many fascinating places and beaches.

The trip starts from arriving in Islamabad and we will have our next flight to Quetta. From Quetta our Journey Begins into the heart of Balochistan. From Mountains to the beaches we will be the witness of every change in cultural diversity, and taste delicious food along the way. 

Next we will move through the mountains to the plateaus land to the beautiful beaches of Balochistan. Visit the Largest deep water sea port of Gawadar. Along the coastal highway we will encounter many Naturally formed land structures and get to experience the different beaches of the Makran coastal Highway. 

Itinerary

On arrival at Islamabad we will have our next flight to Quetta. Landing at Quetta we will move towards our hotel. Overnight at hotel.

In the morning we will head towards the Taftan Border. Taftan Border is one of the Pakistan’s Border crossings with Iran. It either road or rail. It is approximately 500km from Quetta. The length of Taftan border is 909 kilometres. Many Hazar (a community based in Quetta) go to Iran using this border. Later, after visiting Taftan border we will head back to Quetta for overnight stay at the hotel.

Early morning will be going to Ziarat. Ziarat is famous for its height (2,543 meter) above from sea level. It is a three-hour drive from Quetta to Ziarat. Once there we will start our journey of ziarat. We will see Kharwari Baba and visit springs which are descending from the mountains (Domyara in local language). When our journey is completed, we will rest at a hotel in Ziarat. (Approximately 6 – 7-hour drive)

After breakfast, we will leave Ziarat and head back to Quetta. (Approximately 3-and-a-half-hour drive)

Early morning, we will leave Quetta to hit the road leading to Sibi, Sibi is a historical place where the first Sardar of Balochistan Mir Chakar Khan Rind was reigning at 500AD.  We will stop at Bolan Pass (Pir Ghaib); it is a point where most of the people come for picnics. It has natural running warm water. there was also an archaeological excavation was conducted and found horses of Aryans. After enjoying our trip to Pir Ghaib we will head back to Quetta for the night. (Approximately 4-5-hour drive).

Early in the morning we will leave from Quetta and head towards Khuzdar. 300 km from Quetta to Khuzdar. While driving from Quetta to Khuzdar we will witness many Baloch and Bharvi villages of Kalat Division. It is a 5-hour drive from Quetta. Overnight stay at Khuzdar. (Approximately 5 – 6 hours’ drive)

Khuzdar was the main city of Khanate of Kalat. Historically it holds an immense important to Balochistan because of its political leader Khan of Kalat. First thing in the morning after breakfast, we will leave for Moola Chatok. Moola Chatok  is a nature oasis occurring from the natural spring water from the mountains. Cocooned in the wilderness of one of the most barren places on earth, present in the narrow gorges the Moola Chatok is located 105 kilometres of the city of Khuzdar. To get to Moola Chatok we may have to take an off-road track. Later, we will go back to Khuzdar for overnight stay.

After breakfast we will be Leaving Khuzdar, we will start moving towards the Makran Coastal Highway to head towards our next destination, which is Gwadar. From Khuzdar to Gwadar it is a 10-hour drive which we will enjoy while seeing the beautiful landscape of Balochistan. From the Dry Mountain we will enter to the Coast highway and enjoy the breeze while driving. After reaching Gwadar we will have a good rest at the hotel before starting our next journey. (Approximately 9 – 10-hour drive).

Early morning, we will be fully concentrated to Gawadar to cherish its beauty. At Gwadar our exploration will start at Pushukan and then the valley of Ganz, the sunset point of Jiwani, we can see lights from Iran at the Jiwani sunset point. We will also visit Victoria Hut built for Victoria, Spend the night at Gwadar. (Approximately 3-4-hour drive)

After breakfast and having a great rest, while driving through the coastal highway we will stop at Pasni It will take two hours and 40 minutes to reach Pasni. we will visit Astola Island and sand dunes at Pasni. Astola Island Locally known as “Haft Talar” meaning “Seven Hills”. The history of Astola Island Goas back to Alexander the Great. Alexander’s Admiral was sent by Alexander to explore the deserted island. The Admiral Arrian called it Nosala. The island was associated with many frightening tales. After visiting Astola Island we will move back to Pasni for overnight stay.

After Breakfast we will leave from Pasni to Ormara. It will take us approximately 3 hour of drive to reach to Ormara. Ormara Beach also known as Ormara Turtle Beaches is a 10 km stretch of sandy beach. It is one of the famous beach of Balochistan. Many tourist in winter visit Ormara to experience the Beach and the sea. Overnight stay at Ormara beach Resort.

After breakfast we will leave for Karachi. It will take us approximately 5 hour to reach to Karachi. Before Karachi we will have a visit to Gadani Beach and the Gadani Ship Breaking Yard. After that we will move towards our final distination Karachi.
