The Northern Areas of Pakistan are blessed with impressive mountain landscapes. The highest towering snow covered peaks in the world and the longest glaciers outside the Polar Region. Huge lakes and dreamy valleys are abundant.

Karakoram Highway, eighth wonder of the world, is a unique highway that provides one of the most adventurous and scenic journeys to many parts of F.A.N.A (Federally Administered Northern Areas).

We take a tour of the 5000 years old Indus valley civilization and marvel at the magnificence of architecture that covers the most historical and culturally rich areas of Pakistan’s ancient history.

Nanga Parbat literally means “the naked mountain”. It is the 2nd highest peak in Pakistan and 9th highest in world ranking. Located in the western Himalayan Range, Nanga Parbat is also known as Diamer “The Capital of Fairies”. This exciting trek takes you through the enchanting green alpine meadows and valleys and through scenic mountain villages around Nanga Parbat, exploring the three base camps of this hypnotic and spell binding natural giant.

Spantik Peak has 2 different climbing routes. Alexander Klenov and Mikhail Davy climbed the first section of the pillar along the English route and then continued via a new line which required 11 bivouacs overall. The international team spent five days following Victor Saunders and Mick Fowler’s English route between 5th and 11th August 1987.

Biafo & Hispar Glaciers have a total length of 126 km and are the longest of their kind outside of the Polar Regions. They meet at the 5,150 m high Hispar Pass. This immense highway of ice and rock connects the antique kingdoms of Nagar in the West and Askoli (little Tibet) in the East.

One of the most adventurous trek in Karakoram starts from the village of Askoli, the last permanent settlement on the Braldu River in Shigar valley of Baltistan and Skardu, the headquarter town of Baltistan, known as little Tibet. It offers a gateway for adventure lovers to the beautiful valleys of Shangri-La, “Heaven on Earth” the name described by James Hilton in his Novel “The Last Horizons”.
