We begin at Islamabad the capital of Pakistan, located at the foot of green Margalla hills. Visiting the Shah Faisal Mosque a unique architecture of modern times and damn-e-Koh at the Margalla Hill to have the magnificent view of the Islamabad and Rawalpindi, the twin cities, explore the colorful bazaars and old British cantonment buildings in Rawalpindi.

Fly to Bahawalpur, a former princely state on the edge of Cholistan desert, explore the impressive buildings and interesting Museum of Bahawalpur and traverse the sands of Cholistan desert to marvel at the impressive desert landscapes and visit the Derawar Fort built in the 9th century by prince Deva of Jaisal mir, the Royal grave yard with its beautifully decorated tombs.

Visiting to the Famous shrine of Chanan pir, a Sufi saint who passed through the Cholistan Desert and died in 8th century Ad. Hundred of devotees visit this shrine to pay homage, enjoy the colorful Urs mella (birth day celebration) during the month of March.

Wander through the ruins of ancient Forts of Dingarh and Mojghar in the middle of Cholistan desert once the Hakra River flows through this desert. Visit the local houses of Cholistani nomads who lived here with their flocks of livestock and explore their desert culture and nomadic lifestyle.

We also visit the Multan, the city of Sufi shrines and a crossroad of invaders; explorers and mystic Sufis have come across through the Indian sub continent. Visit the octagonal Tombs of Bahaudin Zakria and shah Rukn-e-Alam of 13th and 14th century.

Itinerary

Arrive Islamabad International Airport, meet and transfer to hotel, after noon sightseeing of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Visit the Shah Faisal Mosque and Damn-e-Koh to have the magnificent view of Islamabad and and explore the colorful bazaars of Rawalpindi.

Morning fly to Bahawalpur, arrive and visit the Museum and old walled city of Bahawalpur. Explore the colonial style buildings and colorful bazaars. Over night hotel.

Drive to Derawar village, visit the 9th century Ad impressive Derwar Fort and royal grave yards and decorated tombs and mosques inside the Fort, afternoon enjoy the Camel ride around the Fort. Evening enjoy the camping night with open-air meal. Overnight in camps.

Morning camel ride and after noon free to explore the area and visit the ruins of Din Garh Fort built in the 2nd and 3rd century Ad. Evening enjoy the open air BBQ with camping fire. Overnight Camp.

Morning camel ride and after noon visit the Shrine of Chanin Pir, the mystic Sufi Saint who preach the love and peace devotion. Evening enjoy the Sunset of this lovely desert. Overnight Camping.

Morning drive to Multan, enroute visit the 13th century Sufi Shrines of Bibi Jawindi and Shah Surkh Bukhari in Uch Sharif, after then we continue drive to Multan. Afternoon visit the tombs of Bahaudin Zakria and Shah Rukn-e-Alam of 13th and 14th century Ad. Evening free to explore the bazaar. Overnight hotel.

Transfer to airport.
