Trip to Shahjahan Mosque will take you to the Shah Jahan Mosque in Thatta, is one of the most beautiful Mughal-era mosques in Pakistan and an ideal destination for a one day trip from Karachi. Built in 1647 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, this historic mosque is famous for its stunning blue tile work, 93 domes, and unique acoustic design.

Located about 100 km from Karachi in Thatta, the mosque offers a peaceful atmosphere, rich history, and breathtaking architecture. Unlike many Mughal buildings, it has no minarets but features Persian-style craftsmanship and intricate geometric patterns that attract tourists, photographers, and history lovers.

Itinerary

Morning, drive towards Thatta, en route, we visit Makli Hill, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest necropolises in the world, with an estimated one million graves

We then proceed to visit the magnificent Shah Jahan Mosque in Thatta, an architectural masterpiece from the Mughal era, renowned for its intricate blue tile work and elegant domes.

After the visits, we drive back to Karachi in the evening.
