Itinerary

The drive along the Karakoram Highway is one of the most iconic roads in the world, offering stunning views of the Hindu Kush and Karakoram Mountain ranges. Passu Cones (viewed from the road) and the surrounding landscapes. Once you reach Gulmit, you can enjoy views of Hunza Valley and relax for the evening.

Distance: ~180 km (5-6 hours)

Visit the stunning Passu Cones, the pointed peaks visible from a distance. Explore Passu Glacier this is a great spot for photography and to enjoy the rugged beauty of the glacier. Wander around the Passu Village and learn about the local culture. Overnight in Hotel.

Distance: ~30 km (1 hour)

As you travel south along the Karakoram Highway, you’ll witness three mountain range mountain scenery. We will reach Raikot Bridge and the stunning rock carving at Chilas are on the route. Arrive in Chilas, check in hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.

Distance: ~230 km (6-7 hours)

This day will involve a lot of driving, but the landscape will change from the rugged terrain to the lush greenery of Swat Valley. Shatial Rock Inscriptions, ancient petroglyphs carved by early civilizations. Stop by towns like Basham and enjoy the road’s scenic beauty. As you enter Swat, the views of the valley with its terraced fields and mountains are breathtaking. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Explore Mingora, the largest city in Swat, known for its lively atmosphere. Then we will visit the Buddhist archaeological site and Swat Museum. After that we will relax and unwind in the valley or take short treks to surrounding villages. Overnight stay in hotel.

Morning: Depart early from Swat Valley to Kalam (about 4-5 hours). Explore Kalam: Visit scenic spots like the Ushu Forest, Mahodand Lake. We will have our lunch: Enjoy a meal at a local restaurant or near Mahodand Lake. At afternoon: Relax by the lake or explore the nearby valleys and views. Return to Swat: Head back to Swat in the late afternoon/evening, arriving in time for dinner and rest. Overnight stay in hotel.

You’ll pass through M1 Motorway, a smooth and scenic drive into the capital. In Islamabad, you can visit the Faisal Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, and explore the picturesque Daman-e-Koh, which offers a panoramic view of the city. You might also want to visit the Pakistan Monument for a glimpse of the national history. Overnight stay in hotel.

You’ll have some free time to buy souvenirs or relax before heading to the airport for your return flight.
