Nangma Valley Trek

The Nangma Valley Trek is a ten-day guided tour across Pakistan’s breathtaking scenery. Because of its enormous stones towers and walls, it is also referred to as the Yosemite of Pakistan. Despite being in the Karakoram region, this is rated as an easy walking vacation. 

The Nangma Valley’s natural highlights, which are scattered among tents, neighborhood guesthouses, and hotels, include trekking to Mingulo Broq (3,500m) and Amin Brakk Base Camp (4,500m), dozing down beneath the shadowy skies of the 3,950-meter-high Nangma Valley and cultural excursions to Nangma communities.

Itinerary

Welcome to Pakistan, our guide Nanga Parbat Adventure will receive you at Islamabad International Airport and transfer the you to hotel. We will have our city tour by visit Shah Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument, and Daman-i-Koh view point.

Early in the morning you will be transferred to the airport and you will fly to Skardu, the mountaineering
center of the Karakoram (approx. 60 minutes). When the weather is clear, you can already see Nanga Parbat (8,125 m), the “mountain of fate of the Germans”, K2, the Karakoram Highway far below, and the Indus River from the airplane window. Once you arrive at Skardu airport, you will be picked up and taken to the hotel. The rest of the day can be used as freetime. Overnight stay in the hotel

Travel to Khaplu, stopping at Thorgo Pari and Yugo, the meeting point of the Shayok and Indus rivers, then driving through little settlements in the Ghanche area. We have a traditional lunch at Yugo and then go on a cultural stroll and talk to some of the locals. Spend the night in a hotel

After breakfast,We travel from Khaplu to Kanday village (2 hours) and then walk to Mingulo Broq
(3,500m). This walk passes through lovely, verdant meadows and offers breathtaking views of the rocky outcrops in the area. We have plenty of time to enjoy these exceptional geological marvels while we are camping here.
Trekking for the day: 6km, Altitude gain: 600m

Morning, We will be on a lovely hike today from Mingulo Broq to Nangma Valley (3,950 m), which will take us alongside a glacial stream and through vivid green fields. There’s plenty of time to explore the area at your own pace after lunch at the campsite.
Trekking for the day: 3.5km, Altitute Gain: 450m

Day at leisure in Nangma Valley, trek to 4,500-meter Amin Brakk Base Camp. Get up early to take in the captivating sun rise, explore the glacier stream nearby, try your rock-climbing skills on the boulders, or go bird watching to see some of the many varieties of flowers and birds found in the Karakoram.
Altitute Gain: 500m

We walk back to Kanday today and join a local host family for a customary lunch. We will then make brief stops at several tourist attractions on our way back to Shigar by car. We will check into the hotel in the evening and have some free time.
Trekking for the day: 9.5km, Altitude Loss: 1050m

Drive from Shigar to Skardu airport visit fly to Islamabad [flight is subject to weather] in case of flight cancellation we will wait for the next day flight. Taxila: Most of the archaeological sites of Taxila (600 BC to 500 AD) are located around Taxila museum. For over one Thousand-year Taxila remained famous as a center of learning Gandhara art of sculpture, architecture, education, and Buddhism in the days of Buddhist glory. There are over 50 archaeological sites scattered in a radius of 30 km around Taxila. In Taxila visit archaeological sites of Jaulian, Mohra Moradu, and Sirkap. It is one of the best and well maintained site museums of Pakistan.

Note: If our flight canceled on day 8, due to bad weather, than we will use the day 09 to fly from
Skardu to Islamabad, in this case we will not have a day (9) free in Islamabad.


After a long and hard trekking and journeys we will take a long sleep. After breakfast we will be ready for sightseen of Islamabad, visiting the Log Virsa Museum where you can experience all four province culture, way of life and the strong cultural interaction with neighboring countries of Pakistan, later we
will give time to walk around the bazars. In the evening will have all together farewell dinner from Nanga Parbat adventure at Monal restaurant on the Margala hills. Overnight at Islamabad Hotel or
Envoy continental.

Transfer to Islamabad airport for international flight.
